This video served as an informative, clear and engaging guide to an upcoming major infrastructure improvement project in El Cajon, where a busy intersection was to be replaced by a modern, efficient roundabout. We highlighted the benefits of this transformation for both the local community and commuters, as well as the expected timeline, goals and potential impacts during construction. This was the city’s first attempt to use straightforward video messaging to replace text-based press releases.
HauntFest on Main attracts thousands of residents to Downtown El Cajon, CA each year. This family-friendly celebration is free and includes live music, costume contests, carnival rides, a haunted car show, and a diverse selection of local vendors providing food, crafts, games, and additional activities. We delivered horizontal and vertical versions of the video for use across the City of El Cajon’s social media feeds as both a recap and to promote future iterations.
The City of El Cajon and the El Cajon Police Department hosted three local iHeart Radio personalities who all happen to be El Cajon residents for a one-day version of their citizens’ boot camp. We followed along and produced a two-part series for the city and police department and also supplied individual clips for the radio personalities to add to their own feeds to boost promotion.
World-class dog groomer Gabriel Feitosa turns pups into magical new creations to the delight of their owners using non-toxic dye made specifically for dogs. For this project, we created a full-length transformation video for his YouTube page and used clips to create shorter reels for his millions of dedicated TikTok and Instragram followers.
Shot as a live-to-tape holiday shopping guide, this livestream event with social media icon and fashion influencer Emma Chamberlain was filmed on location at the Haus of Strauss in Hollywood, CA. This is a behind-the-scenes look at the production; the full livestream (available upon request) was over 26 minutes long and included innovative chat and shopping tools provided by the video commerce firm Firework.
For the Mayor’s 2023 State of the City address, the City of El Cajon requested a pre-speech video to showcase the culture and beauty of the east San Diego County city. This project was created over a series of days by filming pre-planned interviews and capturing candid moments with city residents and small business owners. The result is an authentic tapestry produced for El Cajon by people who actually grew up there.
